Stand To is a grim little turn-based tactics game set in the 1982 Falklands War. You command one named section of British infantry across a series of battles — the night assaults on the mountains west of Stanley, the daylight fight at Goose Green, and the Top Malo House raid. The same men carry from one action to the next: the roster persists, thins, and is topped up between battles, and death is permanent.

True line of sight and fog of war, suppression and morale that frays until a man breaks, directional cover, the 84mm for cracking sangars, the mortar and illume for lighting the summit, the Milan, the medic, the bayonet — and always the clock. Take the ground before first light: past dawn you lose the dark and are cut down in the open.

Built in the spirit of the C64 — crisp integer-pixel art, a Rob Hubbard-flavoured SID score, and a single self-contained HTML file with no install and no dependencies. By stronma.
