STELLAR DRIFT is a single-page browser shmup built in the spirit of the Commodore 64 — chunky pixels, neon palettes, SID-inspired Web Audio music, and a faint CRT scanline glow. Seven hand-crafted worlds, three stages and a boss per world, persistent upgrades between missions. No checkpoints. No mercy. Just you, your ship, and that "one more run" feeling.

Each carries a unique special ability: poison spread, overcharge, phase shift, shield wall, cloak, vine pull, nova burst - Persistent upgrades — bank credits between worlds and spend them on fire rate, damage, shields, magnet, and extra lives - 

Original SID-style soundtrack — every world has its own track, all generated live in the Web Audio API - C64 aesthetic throughout — 384×288 internal resolution, scanline overlay, pixel-perfect scaling - Score-based progression — cumulative score across runs unlocks new ships
