Troy - Remastered
Ten years. Two armies. One horse.
Command the Trojan War in a single browser tab. Troy: The Wine-Dark Sea — Remastered rebuilds the original Python terminal strategy game as a complete single-file HTML5 epic: heroes with tempers, gods with agendas, sieges with timetables, and a war that ends nine different ways.
Play the Achaean campaign: land a thousand ships, hold a fractious coalition together, survive the quarrel that sends Achilles to his tents — and, if the prophecies fall your way, build the one gift Troy cannot refuse. The Trojan campaign (defence, endurance, and fire on the beached ships) follows as a free update.
Every season you:
- Post your heroes — battle line, raids, embassy, temples, or the healers' fires
- Hold the Council of War, where heroes argue from their actual traits
- Spend one great effort: battle, fleet action, siege works, diplomacy, the Oracle, or night missions
- Perform one heroic deed — ten hero abilities, from the Aristeia to the Arrow from the Shadows
- Symmetric victory web — nine endings, from the Horse to Troy's endurance
- Gods who intervene by disposition; prophecy quests that gate the endgame
- Battles with commitment levels and mid-battle decisions
- Diplomacy that delivers real spears and real ships — and betrayals that are telegraphed, never random
- An epilogue that writes the fate of every hero, living or dead
- Monte Carlo balance-certified · autosave, three save slots, exportable save strings · procedural Dorian-mode score · zero dependencies, one HTML file
